Al <br /> Rezoning Petition No . 4154 page 2 <br /> The rezoning would create three lots. The first would be the lot <br /> that would be zoned entirely RH-1 and lying adjacent to Uphoff <br /> Road, but bisected by the 25-foot driveway right-of-way that is a <br /> permanent easement providing access to the second parcel ..whibh is <br /> the lot we will purchase . The third parcel will be that zoned RH-3 <br /> lying east of the other two. To provide access to that parcel I will <br /> grant a similar permanent easement across the northern end of my <br /> property. I will have a new Certified Survey conducted and filed. <br /> Granting this petition would solve problems and remove conflicts for <br /> parties including Federated Financial Services Corp. ; Donald and Meredith <br /> Brill who formerly owned the property now held by Federated and who <br /> still own the two additional parcels affeGed by this rezoning; my <br /> wife and me ; Dane County; the Town of Cottage Grove , and the county <br /> zoning office and the Circuit Court. <br /> Federated Financial Corp. will be permitted to sell property held under <br /> a mortgage foreclosure action and thus to recoup its investment. Mr. <br /> and Mrs. Brill will receive the benefits of clear and uncomplicated <br /> zoning status on their remaining property, enabling them to use or <br /> dispose of it without future questions concerning its saleability. <br /> My wife and I will be enabled to close the purchase of this property, <br /> endinc' months of uncertainty. The county and town will benefit from <br /> solving an obviously undesirable situation that hinders the free <br /> sale and purchase of property within their boundaries . And the zoning <br /> office and circuit court will end a conflict arisi! g simply because <br /> two public officials performed their duty. <br /> (more ) <br />
