As a
citizen of the Town of Middleton, and one who would be
directly effected by the placement of such a business, I would
like to register my opposition to this rezoning.
As I look at the sprawl which has taken place from Odana
Road to Middleton, I can only indicate that it is a testament
to terrible planning. The Gammon Road intersection is now a
mess because of the placement of the large food store. The
entire west end of Mineral Point Road is a nightmare for
traffic and pedestrians. A placement of Menard' s in that area
would just be the icing on the cake.
Let' s wait and study the idea and get a plan which will
assure decent highway access and sewer and water which will
serve the entire community throughout the rest of the century
and not just another large, metal building off the beltline.
Respectfully,
C' 'WAY, UN & MEEKER, S.C.
D
. / 4J
. u n
(3609 Swoboda Road,
Town of Middleton)
DPD/hjb RECEIVED
JAN A 1987
Dane County Clerk
