EROSION CONTROL <br /> Chapter 14 <br /> • t Dane County Code of Ordinances • <br /> 14.53 EROSION CONTROL PLANS REQUIRED IN CERTAIN AREAS. The <br /> following zoning districts created under chapter 10 are - subject <br /> to this subsection: <br /> (1) all lots located in C-1, C-2 and M-1 districts; and <br /> (2) lots located in the LC-1, B-1, A-B or R-4 districts when the <br /> lot area -is more than 20,000 square feet and more than 50 percent <br /> of the lot area is devoted to buildings and parking lot (s) . <br /> 14.54 REQUIREMENTS OF EROSION CONTROL PLANS. An erosion control <br /> plan required under this section 14. 53 shall consist of the <br /> following : <br /> (1) cross section of road ditches; <br /> (2) profile within road ditches; <br /> (3) culvert sizes; <br /> (4) direction of flow of runoff; <br /> (5) watershed size for each drainage area; <br /> (6) design discharge for ditches and structural measures; <br /> (7) runoff velocities; <br /> (8) fertilizer and seeding rates and recommendations; <br /> (9) time schedule for seeding; design and location of erosion . <br /> control measures; <br /> (10) method by which the lot (s) are to be developed; <br /> (11) plans for disturbing the area and for re-vegetation; and <br /> (12) a statement as to how any runoff resulting from construction <br /> will effect areas outside of the plat. <br /> • <br /> 14.55 FILING OF EROSION CONTROL PLAN. Any person applying for a <br /> zoning permit in any district subject to section 14 . 53 shall, as . <br /> • part of the zoning permit application process, submit an erosion <br /> control plan meeting the requirements of section 14 . 54 . The <br /> Zoning Administrator shall review the plan for completeness. A <br /> zoning permit may not be issued if the plan is not submitted or <br /> is deficient in content. The -issuance of a zoning permit shall <br /> be withheld pending review of the plan. <br /> 14.56 ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT. (1) The Zoning <br /> Administrator shall forward the plan to LCC staff , for <br /> review and comment. LCC - staff shall review the plan purusant to <br /> the Soil Conservation Service Technical Guide as adopted by Dane <br /> County and notify the Zoning Administrator of any deficiency in <br /> the plan. <br /> (2) The Zoning Administrator shall inform the applicant for a - <br /> zoning permit of any deficiency in the plan and the applicant <br /> shall correct any such deficiency in the plan before the zoning <br /> permit is issued. <br /> - 1- <br /> • <br />
