<br /> 10.03 ZONING DISTRICT MAPS
<br /> (1) The' location and boundaries of the zoning districts other. than the A-1 Agricultural
<br /> District and the flood prone areas (regional flood) are hereby.,established as shown
<br /> on maps entitled 'Zoning District Maps" on file in the Office' of the. Zoning Supervisor,
<br /> The A-1 Agricultural District shall consist of all, areas not otherwise desic',nated. on
<br /> the "Zoning District Maps". . The: Zoning Supervisor shall periodically update the
<br /> "Zoning District Maps" to show any changes in the zoning district. boundary lines re-
<br /> sulting from amendments to the zoning ordinance, . annexations, and changes resulting
<br /> from city or village. extraterritorial. zoning provisions. ' The "Zoning District Maps"
<br /> together with all information shown- thereon and all amendments thereto, shall be as
<br /> much a part of this. ordinance as if fully set forth and described herein.
<br /> (2) Location of District Boundaries
<br /> The following rules shall apply. with respect to the boundaries of the' zoning districts .
<br /> as shown on the zoning district maps:
<br /> a. Where zoning district boundary lines are indicated as following streets-, highways,.
<br /> roads, or alleys or extensions thereof, such boundary lines shall be construed to:be
<br /> the center lines of said streets or alleys or extensions; thereof unless clearly
<br /> shown* to the contrary.
<br /> b. Where a dimensioned boundary line coincides approximately but, not exactly with a,
<br /> lot line which existed on the effective date of incorporation of such boundary 'line
<br /> into the zoning map, the said boundary line shall be construed to 'be the Said lot
<br /> 'line at that. location. '
<br /> c. Streets, highways, roads or alleys which are shown on the zoning district maps and
<br /> which heretofore have been vacated, or which may be vacated hereafter, shall be in.
<br /> the' same zoning district as the lots, pieces, or parcels abutting both sides of the
<br /> street, highway, road or alley 'involved. If the lots,. pieces, -or parcels abutting .
<br /> each side of the street, highway, road or alley were located in different zoning
<br /> districts before the said street or alley was vacated, the center line of such
<br /> vacated street or alley shall be the boundary line of the respective zoning districts.
<br /> d. Where any uncertainty 'exists as to the exact location of zoning district boundary
<br /> lines, the Board of Adjustment, upon written application, shall determine the location
<br /> of such boundary lines. '
<br /> e.- Where any uncertainty 'exists as to the location and boundary of the flood prone
<br /> areas (Regional 'Flood)' the flood profile- elevation shall govern.
<br /> Section 5. Sections III, IV, V, VI, VII and VIII ,of the ordinance of July 20, ' 1938,
<br /> the title to which is recited in the title to this ordinance, are hereby repealed.
<br /> Section 6. Thirteen new sections of the Ordinance hereinabove numbered to be.Chapter
<br /> 10, Dane County Ordinances, are created, to be known and numbered as Sections 10.04 to
<br /> 10.16 inclusive, to read as follows:
<br /> 10.04 RESTRICTIONS UPON LANDS BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES
<br /> •
<br /> • Except as otherwise herein provided:
<br /> (1) Use: No building or structure shall hereinafter be erected, and no existing
<br /> building or .structure shall be moved, altered, added to or enlarged, nor shall any. land,.
<br /> building or structure or premises be used, designed or intended to be used for any pur-
<br /> pose, or in any,manner other than a use designated in this ordinance as permitted in
<br /> 'the district' in which land, building or structure is located.
