SF;CTI0N 10.01; 10.0 (61) Tavern: A building or part of the building open to the public, where-fermented malt. beverages and/or intoxicating liquors are sold at retail for consumption on the premises. The following shall not be considered.a tavern: a restaurant where such beverages are sold only at tables and only in conjunction with meals; a club not open to the public where such beverages are sold in conjunction with the operation of the club; premises where malt beverages are sold by established organizations .in con- junction with the operation of a picnic, .fair or other amusement enterprise:- (62) Tourist Camp: An area or premises. on which are located permanent buildings; either single cabins or buildings compris ing two or more units under one roof, to- . gether with accessory buildings, for temporary accomodation of tourists, but not for permanent occupancy except the owner or occupant of the premises or his employees. (63) Trailer Camp: An area or premises on which is provided space for the temporary..,` accomodation of trailers for tourists, together with the necessary accessory buildings, but not for permanent' occupancy. (64) Vision Clearance Triangle: Shall be the area in each quadrant of an intersection which is abounded by the right-Or-way lines of the highways or streets and a vision clearance setback line connecting points on each .right-of-way line which are located a distance back from the intersection equal to the setback required on the road or highway. (65) Yard: A space on a lot on which a building is situated, unoccupied except as otherwise provided in this ordinance, open and unobstructed from the ground to the sky. (66) Yard, Rear: An open space, unoccupied except for accessory buildings, extending from the rear line of the building to the rear lot line for the entire width of the lot. On lake shore or water front lots the water front end of the lot shall be deemed the rear end of the 'lot for the 'purpose of computing rear yard and setback required by this ordinance. • (67) Yard, Side: A yard or open space on each side of the main building extending from the side wall of the' building to the side lot line and from the :front lot line to the rear yard. ' Section 3e_ Section II and XII of the ordinance of July 20, 1938, the title to which is recited in the title to this ordinance, are hereby repealed. ' Section 4. Two (2) new' sections of' the ordinance hereinabove entitled Chapter 10, Dane ' County Ordinances, ,are created, to be known as Sections 10.02 and 10.03 to read as follows: ' 10.02 DISTRICTS . (1) Creation: For the purpose of promoting the public health, safety and general wel- fare, by regulating, restricting and determining the location of trades and industries and the location, height, .bulk and number of stories, the size of buildings and' other_ structures, and percentage of lot which may be occupied; the size of yards and other ' open spaces, the density of population, the location of buildings designedfor specific purposes, and of establishing' districts of such number, shape and area as are best suited to carry out the purposes of Section 59.97, Wisconsin 'Statutes, Dane County, outside the limits of incorporated villages and cities, is hereby divided into districts as follows: (a) R-1 Residence District _ (b) R-2 Residence District (c) R-3 Residence District- .
