SF;CTI0N 10.01; 10.0 <br /> (61) Tavern: A building or part of the building open to the public, where-fermented <br /> malt. beverages and/or intoxicating liquors are sold at retail for consumption on the <br /> premises. The following shall not be considered.a tavern: a restaurant where such <br /> beverages are sold only at tables and only in conjunction with meals; a club not open <br /> to the public where such beverages are sold in conjunction with the operation of the <br /> club; premises where malt beverages are sold by established organizations .in con- <br /> junction with the operation of a picnic, .fair or other amusement enterprise:- <br /> (62) Tourist Camp: An area or premises. on which are located permanent buildings; <br /> either single cabins or buildings compris ing two or more units under one roof, to- <br /> . gether with accessory buildings, for temporary accomodation of tourists, but not for <br /> permanent occupancy except the owner or occupant of the premises or his employees. <br /> (63) Trailer Camp: An area or premises on which is provided space for the temporary..,` <br /> accomodation of trailers for tourists, together with the necessary accessory buildings, <br /> but not for permanent' occupancy. <br /> (64) Vision Clearance Triangle: Shall be the area in each quadrant of an intersection <br /> which is abounded by the right-Or-way lines of the highways or streets and a vision <br /> clearance setback line connecting points on each .right-of-way line which are located <br /> a distance back from the intersection equal to the setback required on the road or <br /> highway. <br /> (65) Yard: A space on a lot on which a building is situated, unoccupied except as <br /> otherwise provided in this ordinance, open and unobstructed from the ground to the <br /> sky. <br /> (66) Yard, Rear: An open space, unoccupied except for accessory buildings, extending <br /> from the rear line of the building to the rear lot line for the entire width of the <br /> lot. On lake shore or water front lots the water front end of the lot shall be <br /> deemed the rear end of the 'lot for the 'purpose of computing rear yard and setback <br /> required by this ordinance. <br /> • <br /> (67) Yard, Side: A yard or open space on each side of the main building extending <br /> from the side wall of the' building to the side lot line and from the :front lot line <br /> to the rear yard. ' <br /> Section 3e_ Section II and XII of the ordinance of July 20, 1938, the title to which <br /> is recited in the title to this ordinance, are hereby repealed. ' <br /> Section 4. Two (2) new' sections of' the ordinance hereinabove entitled Chapter 10, Dane <br /> ' County Ordinances, ,are created, to be known as Sections 10.02 and 10.03 to read as <br /> follows: ' <br /> 10.02 DISTRICTS . <br /> (1) Creation: For the purpose of promoting the public health, safety and general wel- <br /> fare, by regulating, restricting and determining the location of trades and industries <br /> and the location, height, .bulk and number of stories, the size of buildings and' other_ <br /> structures, and percentage of lot which may be occupied; the size of yards and other ' <br /> open spaces, the density of population, the location of buildings designedfor specific <br /> purposes, and of establishing' districts of such number, shape and area as are best <br /> suited to carry out the purposes of Section 59.97, Wisconsin 'Statutes, Dane County, <br /> outside the limits of incorporated villages and cities, is hereby divided into districts <br /> as follows: <br /> (a) R-1 Residence District _ <br /> (b) R-2 Residence District <br /> (c) R-3 Residence District- . <br /> (d) R-3A Residence District <br /> (e) R-4 Residence District <br /> (f) RH-1 Residence -District ' <br /> (g) RE-1 Recreational District <br /> - 6 <br />
