DEFI1ITIONS For the purposes of this ordinance, certain words and terms are defined as follows: Words used in the present terse include the future, words in the singular number include the plural number and ti ^lords in the plural number include the singular number; the word "building" includes the word "structure's, the word "shall" is mandatory and not directory. Accessory Building: A supplemental building or portions of the main building, the use of which is incidental to the; main building, Boarding house: A building other than a hotel where meals are sold, pursuant to previous arrangement and not to anyone who may apply, for five (5) or more persons not members of the family. Building: Anything constructed and designed to stand more or loss permanently and occupying a space of land. Garage, Public: A building or portion thereof used for the housing or care of more than three (3) self- propelled vehicles or wlhoro any such vehicles are equipped or repaired for retauneratio'n or kopt for hire. Home Occupation: A gainful ecet.pation conducted by members of the family only, within its place of residence, provided 'ghat tho space used is incidental to residential use and that no article is sold or offorod for sale except such as is produced by such home occupations. Lodging House: A building other than a hotel, where lodging only is prov�dod for compensation pursuant to provious arrangomont and not to anyone who may apply for five (5) or more persons not members of the family. Non- conforming Use: A building or promises occupied by a use that does not conform to the regulations of the district in which it is located. Roadside Stand: A farm structure used or intended to be used solely by the otirr_er or tenant of the farm on which it is located for the sale of only the seasonal farm products of the immediate locality in which such roadside stand is located.
