<br /> (18) Lot, Interior: A.lot which is not a corner lot.
<br /> (19) Lot Lines: The lines bounding.a.lot as described herein.
<br /> (20) Lot l4Vidth: For purposes of this ordinance the width of a lot shall be the shortest dis-
<br /> tance between the side lines at the setback line; On lake shore lots the lot width shall be the
<br /> - distance between the side lines at the building line.
<br /> (21) Non-conforming Use: A building or premises occupied by_a use which does not conform
<br /> to the re gulations of the district in which it is located. -
<br /> (22) Bark, Amusement: An area, publicly oiprivately owned, containing amusement and re-
<br /> creational facilities and devices, whether operated for profit or not.
<br /> (23) Park, Public: An area owned by the county or a municipality within the county, operated
<br /> for the convenience and recreation of the public, and containing such facilities as the owning
<br /> municipality shall see fit.
<br /> (24) Parking Lot: A lot where automobiles are parked or stored temporarily but not including
<br /> the wrecking or automobiles or other vehicles or storage for the purpose of repair or wrecking.
<br /> (25) Person: Except where otherwise indicated by the contaxt, the word person shall include
<br /> the plural, or a company, firm, corporation or partnership.
<br /> (26) Professional Office: When conducted in a residential district a professional office shall
<br /> be incidental to the residential use of the premises, shall be conducted by a member of the resi-
<br /> dent family entirely within a residential building and shall include the offices of doctors or
<br /> practitioners, ministers, architects,landscape architects, professional engineers, lawyers, authors,
<br /> musicians and other recognized profess onal occupations conducted within a residence, but not
<br /> including personal services, such as barbers and beauticians and similar occupations.
<br /> (27) Recreational Camp: An area containing one or more permanent buildings used occasion-
<br /> ally or periodically for the accomodation of members of associations or groups for recreational
<br /> purposes.
<br /> (28) Rendering Plant: A plant for the reduction of dead animals or slaughtered animals not
<br /> suitable for human consumption,to by-products, such as hide, skin,grease,bones, glue and soap,
<br /> and for the storage of such by-products.
<br /> (29) Roadside Stand: A`structure used or intended to be used by the owner or occupant of the
<br /> premises on which it is located for the sale of farm or garden products produced on the premises
<br /> or adjacent premises. Such structure shall not be placed within the setback line and may not be
<br /> for the sale or dealing in merchandise other than farm products locally produced.
<br /> (30) Rooming House: Same as lodging house.
<br /> (31) Setback: The minimum horizontal distance from the front lot line of the lot or from the
<br /> center of the highway, measured parallel to the highway or front lot line, to the front of the
<br /> building.
<br /> (32) Service Station: Any building, structure or premises or other place used for dispensing,
<br /> sale or offering for sale of any motor fuel or oils,-having pumps and storage tanks, also where
<br /> batterym tire and similar services are rendered,but not including buildings or premises where such
<br /> business is incidental to the conduct of a public:garage for the repair or storage of motor veh-
<br /> icles.
<br /> (33) Sign: Anything erected, hung, suspended, painted or attached to any other structure,
<br /> carrying words, letters, figures, phrases, sentences, names, designs, trade names or trade marks .
<br /> or any other device placed so as to be vidible from a street or highway and calling attention to
