SECTION 10.25 <br />has been posted. <br />(g). Fees for building permits shall be as follows: <br />For construction up to and including $500.....:......$ 2.00 <br />For construction from $500 to $1,000., .......... o .... 3.00 <br />For each $1,000 of construction over $1,000.......... 1.00 <br />Maximum fee...... .. ..0............6 .............0. 20.00 <br />For any certificate, license or fee not otherwise <br />provided for ............................... 2.00 <br />Such fees shall be collected by the zoning supervisor at.the time the permit <br />is issued, and shall be accounted for and paid into the general fund of the <br />county as other moneys collected by the county. The zoning supervisor shall <br />issue a receipt for each fee collected. Building permit fees may be waived <br />for county and town owned building, for churches, public and parochial <br />schools, religious institutions and the like when application for permit <br />is made by the owner and not the contractor. Permits may also be issued and <br />the fees waived for the construction of state and federal buildings where <br />a permit is not required and would ordinarily not be issued. <br />(h) Any permit issued pursuant to the provisions of this section shall expire <br />one year from the date.of issuance if construction has not started within <br />that time. <br />(3 ) ZONING COMITTEE <br />(a) The zoning committee shall be as created and constituted by the County Board <br />and shall have the duties as prescribed by subsection (b) hereof. <br />(b) It shall be the duty of the zoning committee to supervise the administration <br />of the zoning ordinance, to hold hearings on proposed amendments to this <br />ordinance and to make recommendations thereon to the county board, to ap- <br />prove plats for record in accordance with the provisions of Section 236 <br />(10)(b) of the statutes; and to perform such other duties in connection with <br />zoning as may be delegated to it by the county board. <br />(c) _Effect of denial of a petition to change the zoning district boundaries: <br />No petition for a change in -the zoning district boundaries which has been <br />denied by the Dane County Board of Supervisors shall be resubmitted for a <br />period of one year from the date of said denial, except on the grounds of <br />new evidence or proof of change of conditions found to be valid by the <br />Zoning Committee. <br />(4) APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF SITE <br />(a) P2x:ose: The development and excution of this ordinance is based on the <br />division of the County into districts within which districts the use reg- <br />ulations are substantially uniform. It is recognized, however, that there <br />are certain uses which, because of their unique or varying characteristics, <br />are not permitted in any particular district without consiaeration, in each <br />case,.of the impact of those uses upon neighboring land and of the public <br />need for the particular use at the particular location. <br />(b) Authority: The Dane County Zoning Committee, after a public hearing may <br />approve or deny or recommend to the Dane County Board of Supervisors to <br />- 39 <br />
