GENERAL PROVISIONS SECTION 10.16 <br />(2;!*) feet to the side lot line or the rear lot line. <br />3. On interior lots abutting on two streets, or corner lots abutting on <br />three streets, no accessory building shall be erected, moved or added to so <br />as to be nearer the rear street than the setback for such street. This <br />provision shall not apply to alleys. <br />4. On corner lots abutting on two streets no accessory building shall be <br />erected, moved or added to so as to be nearer to the side street than the <br />distance required for the main building on such street; provided, however, that <br />for garages with entrances facing the side street the minimum distance from <br />such side street shall be twenty (20) feet. When the rear lot line of the <br />corner lot forms the side line of an adjoining or abutting lot no accessory <br />building shall be erected, moved or added to so as to be nearer such rear lot <br />line than the side line required for the building on the adjoining lot. <br />5. For uses designated in Sections 10.05 (1)(f), (g) and (h) and 10.12 <br />(1)(g) the minimum rear yard shall be the same as the side yard required for <br />such use. <br />(7) LAKE SHORE OR MATER FRONT LOTS <br />(a) Accessory buildings on lake shore or water front lots may be located <br />on either the street end or water front end of such lots, or both. The distance <br />from the side line in either case shall be governed by the provisions of Section <br />10.16 (6)(a); provided, however, that no accessory building may be so placed <br />as to reduce the required side yard for the main building. The setback of <br />such accessory building, when located on the street end of such lot, shall <br />comply with the provisions of Section 10.17. <br />(8) SIZE, LOCATION AND PLACEMENT OF SIGNS <br />(a) In districts in which signs and billboards are permitted such signs <br />shall not exceed five hundred (500) square feet of advertising space or face <br />area exclusive of trim. When placed on the interstate system such signs shall <br />conform to the requirements of Section 84.30 of the statutes and the rules of <br />the state highway commission. On other highways such signs may be placed at <br />the right of way line except at intersections. When placed on a federal or <br />state trunk highway no sign shall be closer than 150 feet to the nearest right <br />of way line of the intersecting highway and the, minimum distance between signs <br />shall be 100 feet. When placed on a county trunk or town road no sign shall be <br />closer than 100 feet to the nearest right of way of the intersecting highway <br />and the minimum distance between signs shall be 100 feet. A railroad crossing <br />shall be considered the same as a highway intersection. In all cases, if there <br />is a vision corner at the intersection, the diagonal line shall be construed <br />as the right of way line. <br />(b) Directory signs placed on the interstate system shall comply Faith the <br />requirements of Section 84.30 of the statutes and the rules of the state highway <br />commission. On other highways the maximum advertising or face area shall be <br />128 square feet and no more than two - thirds of the area may be devoted to <br />advertising a product or brand name.
