27. Renumber ss 10.16 (4) (e) to (6a) (a) and amend to read as follows: <br />(a) No existing building, erected prior to the adoption of this ordinance, which projects <br />into the eet35aek area a required yard shall be moved, structurally altered or added <br />to so as to increase that part of the building projections into the selbaek area. the <br />required yard This provision shall not be construed to prohibit additions or alteratt-ons <br />which conform to the setback requirements. <br />28. Create a new ss 10.16 (6a) (b) to read as follows: <br />(b) Roof overhangs, soffits and awnings that are not supported to the ground may extend <br />into any required yard by not more than three (3) feet. <br />29. Repeal ss 10.18 (4) (d) and recreate to read as follows: <br />(d) Except for banks, office buildings and clinics, retail or local places of business shall <br />provide one (l)parking space for each three hundred (300) square feet of floor space <br />devoted to retail sales. Banks, office buildings and clinics shall provide one such <br />space for each three hundred (300) square feet of floor area. <br />30. Amend ss 10.25 (2) (c) to read as follows: <br />(c) The Zoning Administrator may require the filing of a scale drawing of the premises, <br />showing the dimensions of the lot or parcel, the dimensions of the proposed build- <br />ings, the distance in feet from the abutting street or highway and from the side <br />andrear lot line, the size and location of any existing buildings and such other in- <br />formation as he deems necessary. He may also require evidence of compliance with the <br />Dane County Sanitary Code iehapter-27}, the Dane County Land Division and Subdivision <br />Ordinance 4Ehagter-2$}, Dane County Trunk Highway Access Control Regulations iehagter <br />38} or any other state or township access or culvert permit requirements as a condi- <br />tion precedent to the issuance of a zoning permit. The Zoning Administrator shall not <br />be responsible for determining the location of lot lines. <br />31. Repeal ss 10.25 (3) (a) and (b) and recreate to read as follows: <br />(a) The owner or his agent shall request that the Zoning Administrator make the following <br />inspections: <br />L The first inspection shall be requested when the foundations or basement walls are <br />completed. <br />2. The second or final inspection shall be made before a certificate of compliance can <br />be issued under ss 10.25 (8) of this Ordinance. <br />(b) The owner or his agent shall have all lot corners visibly staked prior to requesting an <br />inspection. If the Zoning Administrator is unable to accurately verify the location of <br />a building on its lot, he may post a stop work order and require that a survey map be pre- <br />pared by a registered land surveyor that w i 11 show the location of the building on its <br />lot before allowing construction to continue. <br />EFFECTrVE: APR 12 1 <br />
